Belinda Campbell Comninos
Managing Director, Practice Lead Engagement
Belinda thrives in delivering solutions in challenging and dynamic environments that enrich and improve communities. Through her experience Belinda has cultivated a refined skillset in consultation and engagement, facilitation, research and project development for large-scale projects and public policy strategies with the interest of the end-user at the forefront.
Belinda continues to develop a contemporary practice in human centred engagement methodologies and design thinking. She is an alumni of Stanford University’s d.school in systems thinking and design and has studied with the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW. She is a trained teacher and experienced facilitator within high school and adult learner settings.
Belinda led the development of UNSW's first Disability Action Plan that involved consultation and co-design strategies across the key stakeholders at the University to inform the development of the plan. She utilises her skills in user-led design within projects to complement other research methodologies. As a Senior Ministerial Advisor in the portfolios of disability services, ageing, small business and tourism in the NSW State Government, Belinda is particularly proud of her approach to exploring new policy direction with stakeholders and front line staff including exploring innovative accommodation options for people with disability.
Belinda is an active member of her local community and is on the Management Committee of Hibiscus Committee Preschool in Daceyville, NSW. She loves to spend her weekends watching her kids play sport, bushwalking and reading/listen to a good book.
