Rachel has spent over 20 years working in public and private organisations to deliver highly effective campaigns, planning and delivering engagement and leading projects. Her expertise is diverse from strategy to storytelling, all underpinned by evidence and a solid understanding of the social, political and policy landscape.
Rachel is passionate about engagement to drive meaningful outcomes for people and places and is a practitioner from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). She is a dynamic facilitator, able to draw out insights from participants and tackle contentious issues to seek out consensus. She ensures information is communicated in a compelling narrative for diverse purposes and audiences.
Previous to joining Astrolabe, Rachel played a key role in advocating for the introduction of the Western Sydney City Deal. She was closely involved in the creation of a new brand for Penrith City Council and then led the delivery of key economic development and advocacy activities on a local and national level aligned to the new direction set for one of the fastest growing regions in Australia.
Rachel likes to walk 5kms before breakfast each day, much to the annoyance of her Jack Russell, Milo.
