The development of numerous regional strategic plans have outlined various opportunities for growth for the Illawarra Shoalhaven region.
ISJO identified a need to focus regional stakeholders on a set of key priorities, to seek out capital investment and foster collaboration to facilitate economic development. This aimed to bring an overarching vision to drive advocacy and dialogue between key regional stakeholders and outside of the region.
Astrolabe worked with ISJO, the NSW Government and local stakeholders from across the Illawarra Shoalhaven and Greater Sydney to develop the vision, big moves and blueprint.

Our principal deliverable was an economic development blueprint for the Illawarra Shoalhaven.
This blueprint provides a common reference point for stakeholders, helping provide clarity and drive investment advocacy.
It provides the foundation for business case development for key infrastructure and development activities and cross-sector collaboration.
